What Does A Vein Like Protrusion In The Abdomen Indicate?
Just noticed a large vein-like protrusion in my abdomen that is a bit tender to the touch. Starts approx 5 below right nipple and is right of center approx 5 . It then runs down my abdomen for several inches. Feels ropey to the touch. It wasn t there a week ago so I m a bit concerned.

It could be an enlarged vein. The superficial veins may become prominent and it does not indicate any disease condition and no treatment is required.
You can go for an ultrasound scan for reassurance.
