I have a small white spot on the side of my tongue. It doesn t appear to be a canker sore, and it isn t very pronounced at all. It almost appears to be a scar from a blood blister I got from biting my tongue months ago, but...I didn t think that could leave a scar. I haven t noticed any pain, and it hasn t changed in any way since I noticed it a few months ago. I m just curious if this could be a symptom for any kind of oral cancer, or anything else...Thank you
I have read your query. As far as white small spot on side of tongue is concerned this can be due to depapillation of papillae or geographic tongue . For this you can send us image of tongue for proper diagnosis . you can consult oral surgeon for clincal evaluation. Inmeantime maintain proper oral hygiene . Use tongue scaper to clean your tongue .
