What Does Abdominal Pain Along With Nausea Indicate?
Hi, so I am experiencing a lot of pain in my abdominal area and its gradually gotten worse in the last couple hours, I m also experiencing extreme nausea but no vomiting and no fever, a couple years ago I had a case of acute pancreatitis and the pain from that was unbearable and this pain is the same pain that showed up a couple years back, do you know what I should have or if I should seek medical attention ?

It can be gastroenteritis with indigestion. Take bland diet and avoid fast food. Fresh vegetable and fruits can be taken. Avoid solid food and can take semisolid or vegetable soup. Pancreatic enzyme can be tested, blood sugar can be tested beta-cell of langerhans might have been effected. If it is beta cell sparing then investigation result will be different you should seek medical attention. Physician expert in treating pancreatitis should be consulted as such it is a serious and life threatening disease.Ultrasound of abdomen and palpitation to feel enlarged pancreas to be done just if by palpation you can feel it then it is enlarged. Avoid red meat and deep fried things.
