General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, very sorry to hear about your daughter. I can understand your concern for her abdominal pain.
Yes, appendicitis comes with fever, vomiting and right lower abdominal pain which might radiate to umbilical region. The other possible diagnosis of bloated abdomen and mild diarrhea are indigestion, gastritis or acidity. Without general physical examination, it will not be possible to come to a diagnosis. However, if there is no fever and no vomiting, giving her plenty of oral fluids, probiotics, antispasmodic might help to reduce the pain. Avoid spicy, oily food, dairy products for few days. If the pain becomes unbearable, kindly visit ER or local doctor.
Hope your daughter gets well soon.
Thank you.
