What Does Abdominal Pain On The Right Side Indicate?

I have right abdominal pain daily x 1 month. More likely after I ve eaten or drunk fluids. I have this pain daily intermittently. It isn t sharp enough to make me wince. I was conscious of the pain when I woke up off and on during the night. I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago. I have regular bowel movements and had a colonoscopy 3 years ago with a few polyps. I am a married male 59 year old CPA. I m 5 9 and weigh 210#. I take Testosterone injections every 2 weeks, Atorvastatin, Lisinopril, Omeprazole and Atorvastatin. I have chronic right shoulder pain from a failed shoulder replacement with a chronic infection. I take Hydrocodone and Oxycodone daily for the pain. I walk daily and am currently working 75 hours a week during tax season.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can take Oflox oz twice a day for five days. Take Omeprazole twice a day for five days empty stomach. Take Tramadol and Paracetamol combination 2 times a day for five days. If not resolved then consult a gastroentrologist. Do ultrasound and CT scan abdomen as per advice.
