What Does Abnormal Cells In A Pap Smear Indicate?

I recently have notice a stronger feminine odor than usual. Being that i was diagnosed with trichomonasis 8months ago (which I didn t notice any symptoms I only found out because I had a miscarriage an went in to the emergency room. But i was concerned about possibly having trichomonasis agaim. so i had a pap. my results were negative but the doctor did say the over the counter medication i was taking for a yeast infection (which i wasnusure if i had was just trien to exclude all posibilties)during the time I had my pap smear could affect the test results of trichomonasis. My test results all came back negative. But I have abnormal cells? An she wants me to have a choloscopy? You think the cells could just mean I could still have trichomonasis or something else?
