What Does Absent Fetal Kidney On Pregnancy Scan Mean?

I am 35 year old and i am 17/6 week/days pregnant and in my anomaly scan shows IMPRESSION that Single, viable normal fetus with maturity of 17/6w/days, EDD: 8/2/15 ( 2 wks difference ) and Right Kidney not localised? absent and giving SUG : FU USG for right fetal Kidney My Dr says we will doing sonography after one month... What i do is there any chance after one month it will show or i am geting very nervous...

DONT BE NERVOUS...

IN MANY CASES IT HAPPENS THAT SOME STRUCTURE CANT BE VISULISED...IN SUCH CASE REPEAT SONOGRAPHY AFTER 15-20 DAYS WILL SHOW NORMAL REPORT.

YA THERE COULD BE A POSSIBILTY OF CONGENITAL ANOMALY ALSO...WE SHOULD ALSO KEEP THIS IN MIND...

REPEAT USG AFTER 15 DAYS....SO IF ANY MAJOR ANOMALY FOUND WE CAN TAKE DECISION OF CONTINUATION OF PREGNANCY BEFORE 20 WEEKS...
