What Does Absolute Eosinophilia Count Of 1134 Indicate?
Hi, My Absolute Eosinophilia count in 1134 (18%) as observed during blood test. The doctor has adviced Zentel (once a day) and Hetrazan tables (thrice a day). Is it okay to use ? Can high Eosinophilia count be a result of any ongoing medicines. I was taking - Sinus 77, Azee 500 and Dolo 650 mg before blood test.
High eosinophil count is usually due to parasitic infection and allergic reaction. Allergic reaction may be due to any drug which you have consumed. I can’t rule out drug-induced high eosinophil count as causal possibility is there. Advice 1. Continue Hetrazan as suggested 2. Take Zentel once daily per oral at bed time for 3 days only 3. Avoid dust, smoking, dry environment and spicy food 4. Investigations a. Routine examination of stool b. Repeat WBC count after 15 days I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thank
