What Does An Abscess On Hip Indicate?

hi doctor, recently i have an abscess on my hip area. and from last 1 year i am facing this issue in every summer. Now skin Dr has prescribed me some antibiotics plus tests. My test report shows rbc count 6.13 and Red cell distribution width is also 17.10. there is also some positive reports in ESR 27.

Hello,

The data you have provided shows red cell count in higher normal ranges and width of your red blood cells is high, may be secondary to vitmain B12 or folate deficiency. Very Mild rise in ESR is due to abscess. You should get your sugars checked by test HBA1C levels.
