Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a strange taste in my mouth for 2 months. I thought it was coming from a tooth that I need a root canal to do on, but I have had that completed and I still have the same strange taste in my mouth after it was fixed. I need to know what type of doctor I need to see to find out the answer to my problem
So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
A proper clinical examination can be done to rule out the exact cause..
For now to mask the bad taste by gargling with flavoured antiseptic mouthwash and chew flavoured sugar free chewing gum.. Keep the tongue clean by scraping with a tongue scraper.. Do warm saline gargles.. Avoid high aroma foods like onion and garlic..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
