hi Doc, my name is faisal, i just had my CBC and there i have high Eosinophils (14%) RDW (14.3 %) and MPV (11.6 fl) also at the report bottom it mentioned NORMOCYTIC NORMOCHROMIC, Few reactive Lymphocytes and Eosinophilia, i have gall stones and recently i had gastro pain due to which doc ask me to have this test. please let me know what above all means thx Faisal
The increased levels of eosinophils most likely are secondary to allergy or parasite infection. RDW is the rate that red blood cells are produced and when is high,mostly is because anemia,which means that need to have workup to find out why you are anemic.
