What Does An Indentation Behind The Head Indicate?

I have been having what I describe as what seems to feel like cold chills on top back of my head and it feels like there is an indentation there that I don t know if it was there all along or what. I am not having any headaches but just becoming concerned about the cold chill like feelings.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be due to injury or local edema or sub dermoid bone erosion or multiple myeloma or fibrous dysplasia.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your orthopedician/neuro physician, they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
