What Does An Indentation On The Face Indicate?

Hi. Dr. Pavan. I have two questions if you don t mind. Today, I took a nap and when I went to take a shower, I noticed a dark area on my left side of the face. It is a dent which is causing a shadow. I thought, I was mistaken, until I felt with my fingers. So, that has me concerned. Second question. I have a spot on my right side of my face that was a dark pea size looking scar. Over time is just seem to get darker so, I peeled some of the skin off and trying to get rid of the brown colored skin (thinking it s dead skin that needs to be taken off) I ve had acne there before and that s what originally caused the brown spot. The area is a bit bigger than the original brown spot. Any advice on what to do? Thanks.
