What Does An Indentation On The Forehead Indicate?

Hi, I have an indentation on my forehead just below my hairline. It appeared last evening and it is sore to the touch. This morning it is not as deep but forehead is very tender. It feels like I have a big goose egg with an indentation at the top of it. What could this be?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

skin problems are hard to be understood without seeing it . But what appear from your story is that you probably have a corbuncle on your forehead. This is an infection of the hair follicle , a common thing that happen to many people. once seen and confirmed as being corbuncle , the treatment is usually a course of antibiotics.
So just if you could see your doc and let him see this.
