What Does An Itchy Rash Above The Buttocks Indicate?

I have this rash or open wound kind of looking thing at the top of my butt crack. It started out much smaller but it has grown. It is extremely itchy and I ve had it for two weeks now. Ever since I got back from being out of state. Sometimes the things will scab over slightly but by morning the next day they are back to almost being an open wound.

Hi,

Your problem can be due to folliculitis, bacterial infection of hair follicle. Applying creams containing combination of antifungal, anti bacterial and corticosteroid will be helpful. You can also do warm compress. If no improvement then oral antibiotics will be needed.
