i have a growing rash on my neck, the size of the rash is about 7 inches long and 4 inches in height, it started at about an 1 inch about 2 months ago now it has spread all along the left side of my neck, it itches and burns I have applied petroleum jelly for comfort .
Itchy rash on the neck that is growing in size can be due to causes like Atopic Dermatitis or eczema.. It is commonly an allergic reaction and can be due to causes like synthetic fibres, soap and detergent, cosmetic creams, perfumes, mites etc.. You should consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.. You can be advised to apply steroid ointment over the rashes.. You can also be advised Tacrolimus ointment for relief.. Lukewarm bath with chlorine bleach can help in disinfection.. Keep the area dry and clean..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
