What Does An Itchy Red Rash On The Right Nipple Indicate?

My right breast has a rash like and it is on the nipple. It looks like red bumpy rash and it is itching. It has been itching like this for two or three days and it is sore. The itching is a itch that is deep and it is like you can’t get it to stop. What should I do?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Did you come into contact with scabies patient in recent past? Do these rashes are only on right nipple and nowhere else? Do these rashes are associated with other lesions like papules, vesicles?

Are you breastfeeding? As sometimes biting of infants can also cause inflammation of nipple and soreness.

For temporary relief of itching take tablet Levocetirizine and apply simple powder over it. Further, consult a gynecologist for breast examination.
