What Does An Itchy Spot Behind The Leg Indicate?
I started with a small red itchy spot on the back of my leg. After taking a shower, it exploded into red itchy lines and circles all over my body. The next day I had nausea and diarrhea with my ears and throat hurting. Could you tell me what this might be? And if any pictures exist of this type of rash explaining what it is.

There are 2 main causes of the rash you describe:
- allergic reaction: in this case rash that spreads all over the body and sometimes respiratory symptoms with throat discomfort and eye or lip swelling can happen. This is generally quite a severe allergy and you will need to see your doctor soon if you have difficulty breathing or lip or eye swelling.
- the most likely cause is that you might be going through a viral infection that is effecting your upper respiratory tract and cause the throat pain and ear discomfort. These viruses can also cause skin rash as it has happened in your case. You might benefit if you take some chlorpheniramine to help with the itchiness (be cautious if you are driving as it might cause drowsiness). The rash should disappear in 3-5 days and you should feel much better at that time.
If you are not improving in a few days or you are getting any worse you will need to see a doctor to examine you.
