What Does An Itchy Spot On The Back Indicate?

Hi Dr. There s an itchy spot on the left side of my back. It s been like that for about 5 months now. what could be the problem? 2ndly, sometimes, I suffer from erectile dysfunction....i don t want to take drugs for fear of being dependent on them. what do you think?

For the itchy spot, we need more details but, for the time (5 months) I recommend you visit your local healthcare provider, just to make sure that it's not malignant.

If you suffer from erectile dysfunction, the major causes are psychological, heart problems or neurologic diseases, if you don't have any other symptoms, you should make sure that the cause is not psychological. Depending on the reason, you can take medication, which is safe and rarely makes you physiologically dependant. If this doesn't work, there are other more invasive methods as a last resource.
