I have a spot on my back close to the bra line where it breaks out in a line and itches like crazy. It seems to go away for several weeks . then comes back with and itching vengeance. I have tried cortisone creams and when I clean it with alcohol it seems to abate some for a very short time. I even went to the Dermatologist, but it was in a time when it wasn t active this is driving me crazy, can you help?

Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. It seems you are suffering from herpes zoster infection. You can take antiinflamatories for pain relief, use an antiviral ointment with acyclovir also prednisolone 40-60mg once daily for a week can help.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you. Best regards.
