IMPRESSION: 1. There are subcentimeter bilateral ovarian cysts noted in the subcapsular location . Advise clinical correlation for polycystic ovarian syndrome
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, i can fully understand your anxiety. Your scan definitely is suggestive of PCOS( poly cystic ovarian syndrome). You should've mentioned your age, and if you've regular menses. There're no dominant follicles seen, with multiple cysts seen, on both sides. The uterus is normal, but endometrial thickness should be more than 4mm. Is this scan done as part of a follicular study ? You can ask a direct question to me,to clear all your doubts. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
