I always had regular period...This month I didnt get the period so I went for a scan...I am married now for and year and a half...Scan shows bilateral polycystic ovaries..Fatty liver..Doc has asked me to reduce weight only...No medication is adviced..is it fine?
polycystic ovarian disease is a condition which arises in both of your ovaries due to improper hatching of your eggs and when your eggs don't mature properly so I would suggest you to start a course of myoinositol containing tablets (Ovalife) for 1 month. Start weight reduction by exercise. Do a thyroid profile test and repeat ultrasound examination of lower abdomen after 3 months.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
