What Does Bilirubin, Epithelial Cells & Traces Of Oxalate In Urine Suggest?
I am a female of 49 years old. I also work for a physician. I am a diabetic pretty well controlled and also have a tubular defect of my kidneys. I had a routine urinalysis done-it showed that I have small bilirubin, epithelial cells are 5-10, trace of CA Oxalate. What does all of this mean?
As generally depends on the previous food intake urine analysis report will vary. As Calcium oxalate in urine shows possibility of renal sotnes in your kidney and also poor hydration. epithelial cells shows some abnormality in kidney. As you already got some tubular defect kindly visit a nephrologist for further assessment Regards Dr.S.Senthilnathan
