Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic.
Thanks for writing.
I am Dr.Saddiq ul Abidin. I have read you question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.
Black eye is a normal finding to have after
forehead injury. Eye has a soft space around it so the blood trickling down from damaged forehead blood vessels gathers in this space around the eye.
There is nothing to be worried if you don't have a blood disorder. This will settle by itself.
There are a few suggestions which will help you in better healing and early resolution of your black eye.
1)Wrap some band around your head covering the area that got the hit, this will stop the bleeding if there is any, though after five days in normal person we can not expect it.
2) Don't panic and do nothing about it this will resolve itself, this will reach a peak then start resolving itself.
3) You can use a sunglasses for cosmetic purposes and this will also save your eye from sunlight, in rare occasions eye can be somewhat sensitive to light for the time being.
Every things will be back to normal in a week or so don't worry.
Wish you a great weekend.
I hope this answered your question. If you have more queries I am happy to answer.Otherwise rate and close the discussion
