Hello,

Black spots in eyes may be floaters that appear in eyesight in the following conditions:
1) Age related changes
2) Posterior uveitis or inflammation at the back of the eye
3) Bleeding in the eye
4) Retinal detachment
5) Certain eye surgeries and medications injected into vitreous
6) Diabetic retinopathy
7) Trauma to the eye

Treatment depends upon the cause. Headache can occur with floaters. Please do consult an ophthalmologist for detailed clinical examination and appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
