What Does Bleeding After Intercourse Suggest?

Hi. I have a quick question. I recently just got off my period and when I had sex this weekend my period came back, well I thought it did. When I pee there is nothing and during the day there is nothing, but when I go to the bathroom and wipe there is pinkish blood, sometimes bright red. I als . Notices clumps of blood was in the toilet and when I wipped there was blood but it was a little jellyish. I have no pain but a constant feeling to pee, there is no burning feeling either. So my question for you is would I have a blood clot or a UTI? I ve had UTI s before and they never felt like this. There was a lot more pain and a toilet full of blood. This time the blood is only there when I wipe.

Hello,

Bleeding after intercourse can be due to cervical inflammation, cervical or endometrial polyp, growth etc. I suggest you to get PAP smear done and pelvic ultrasound to look for the cause of bleeding.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
