What Does Bleeding And Cramps In Pregnancy Imply?

I found out i was pregnant 4 days ago and yesterday i started bleeding heavy. I had a few cramps now and then but not as bad as period pains i have had. Last night i had a few clots and this morning i am still bleeding but not as heavy. Have i had a miscarriage?

Hi,

Yes its likely that you had a miscarriage, do a blood HCG level and repeat it after 48 hours. It should decrease by 50%. If you develop any fever, or if the bleeding increases see a doctor immediately.
An ultrasound can help if your BHCG levels are above 1000 IU.
