What Does Bleeding During 5 Weeks Of Pregnancy Indicate?

On my 5 weeks pregnant i encounter heavy bleeding for two days..i went to hospital the doc.give injection and duphaston 10mg..o take it 2 times a day..3 days spotting chocolate color...after 3 days totally clean .we went to my doctor.the doc.do ultrasound..he says inside still have a lot of blood..he give me injection again and duphaston...my concerned is my baby in my womb is it no side effect that two weeks already the doc.give injection and everyday i take duphaston...

It is unfortunate to note that you are 5 weeks pregnant and encountered bleeding and chocolate colour spotting.
The doctor has rightly advised you to take Duphaston tablets 10mg as it is used to treat spontaneous abortion (miscarriage).
To know about the status of pregnancy, you need to undergo scanning at between 8 - 10 weeks to look for growth and viability of the foetus by the appearance of cardiac activity.
Until then, eat healthy diet, keep yourself well hydrated and take enough rest. Avoid strenuous physical activity and follow the advise as given by your doctor.
