What Does Bleeding During A Bowel Movement Indicate?

For the 2nd time in 2 days I had red blood in the bowl during bowel movement. I went to a doctor a few months ago as it happened then and maybe once more a few years ago. She said I should come back if it happens again. I have had colonoscopies. I have IBS. I also had discomfort in the abdomen.

welcome to hcm ..in this case i proceede as per case history ..first i prescribe antibiotics as ofloxocin and metronidazole for 5 days as it may be infection ..but if the bleed persists i advise colonoscopy as there may be some bleeding lesion in gut ..
