Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had 2 miscarriages. Each time I start bleeding when my period is due (11 days after ovulation). This then stops and I get a positive home pregnancy test. I then start to miscarry at 6 weeks. Why do I start bleeding when my period was due when I m pregnant?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. It is unfortunate to note that you are not able to take up pregnancy and it is leading to miscarriage. It happens because there in not enough endometrial preparation for implantation due to lack or imbalance in hormones. Hence, you need to get evaluated by a Gynecologist by means of blood hormone level estimations along with ultrasound abdomen scan to institute proper treatment. Many a times, the exact cause for miscarriage could not be found. But if it could be detected, then it can be taken care of. So don't loose hopes or be worried. Have a proper workup and try your best. All the best.
