Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that your son is suffering from Herpatic
Gingivostomatitis leading to fever as well as swollen and inflamed gums and inflammation inside the mouth along with small bums inside the mouth..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician or an Infectious Medicine specialist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like oral swab culture, blood tests etc can help in confirming the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case of viral infection he can be advised to take
antiviral medication like
Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, Famicyclovir etc..
Give him
Acetaminophen to reduce fever..
Cold sponges over the extremities and forehead can help in reducing fever..
You can also be advised to take do cool compresses over the gums as it will help in reducing inflammation and bleeding..
Make him do cool water rinses..
Give him a
soft diet with plenty of fluids..
Make him do sufficient rest..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
