What Does Bleeding In Pregnancy Indicate?

I had heavy bleeding and passed out clots two weeks back,in e u/s it showed ma preg was still there...e doc told me to come back after two wks which was yesterday...e u/s still shows a bulky uterus three months old but could not see ma bby.....am confused....

Hello,
The sonogram findings suggest that you may have lost your pregnancy, unfortunately. To clarify further, you can repeat the sonogram, preferably in the trans-vaginal route after a couple of days to see if there is any evidence of a gestation sac. This can be clubbed with serial serum beta-hCG titres and if doubling titres if found every 2-3 days, the prognosis for the pregnancy is good; else, an evacuation may be needed if there is no sac seen in a sonogram. Please contact your consultant for further management. Take care.
