What Does Blood Discharge After Intercourse Indicate?
My period started the night of aug. 31 and last for almost a week. Just yesterday i had sexual contact withmy fiance. And after an hour of sex, i noticed a blood stain in my undies pinkish with brown thing, and until this moment i still have that stain, and when i pee theres a blood stain after wiping it with tissue. As if i have a period which about to end. I dont feel anything unusual or pain in my v or hips or tummy. Theres no unsual smell of discharge.Im just worried.
As you had sex In the spotting days of your cycle, brownish discharge could be a sign of vigorous sex. In the spotting days, old blood and the inner lining of uterus comes out which could be brownish, pink or purple in colour. I advise you to avoid deeper penetration and also to avoid the spotting days if such complaints are troublesome for you.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
