I have had blood in my snot for about 10 days now, and my right nostral seems to bleed everytime I wipe or blow my nose, I ve also been getting pressure type feeling behind my nose and eyes, this morning I blew my nose and out of both nostrils big clumps of blood came out and my nose continued to bleed for about 5 minutes, my nose keeps blocking up and I have a headache from the pressure feeling now?
As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this:
1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [ENT] and to know exact cause do one [Nasal Endoscopy] and CT scan. 2) Discuss with your Doctor about [Decongestants] and preventive injectable antibiotics like [Ceftriaxone] and plan final treatment after nasal endoscopy.
Do follow lifestyle modifications like this:
1) Try to avoid upper respiratory infections. Minimize contact with people who have colds. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, especially before your meals. 2) Carefully manage your allergies. Work with your doctor to keep symptoms under control. 3) Try to avoid cigarette smoke and polluted air. Tobacco smoke and other pollutants can irritate and inflame your lungs and nasal passages. 4) Use a humidifier in the bedroom.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
