What Does Blood In Stool Indicate?
Hi I m 33 yrs old I have crohns disease. was diagnosed at 26. I have had mucus with blood in my stool before. But for the last hour ive went to the bathroom twice and I am pooping out nothing but blood and clots. It s very scary and I have never seen me have anywhere near this much blood. should I goto ER immediately or can I wait to schedule GI appointment for tomorrow?

Besides chrohn's disease, reason for fresh blood with clot is hemorrhoids. Although it is not emergency condition stopping of bleeding from anus is necessary.
My advice is to contact surgeon soon.
