My husband had prostate cancer surgery 13 years ago. A year after that he had radiation. A year after that he started passing blood in his urine. Three years ago they did a biopsy of his bladder and said he had a lesion on his bladder, but it was not cancerous at that time. He started getting hormone shots every six months to slow down his psa numbers. Six months ago his psa numbers went up to 17. They started him on these hormone pills (enzalutamide) but after six months his numbers are 33. His ct scan shows striations on his appendix. He doesn t feel like eating much. He ate a can of peaches and a piece of cheese today. He is taking 2 Advil PM pills last night and tonight to help him sleep. He doesn t feel like doing much. The technician that read his scan said he thinks his appendix is inflamed. the oncologist thinks he has striations in his abdomen. The oncologist said if he gets a fever to go to emergency.
