What Does Blue Discoloration On The Thighs And Calves Indicate?

My thighs and calves look blue.I have no pain in my legs and no swelling.I had run out of my depakote for 7 days.They were mail order but I finally started them again yesterday.I take it for migraines.I was wondering if the poor circulation is a side affect of being off it or could it be something else.I have low thyroid and type 2diabetes as well.My blood sugar fluctuates between 96 and 106 .
