Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Body Ache Along With Fatigue And Nausea Indicate?
I think I have the flu...all my body aches, very tired, nauseated like I m going to throw up. Grandson has foot and mouth disease (diagnosed today by pediatrician). Since I have these symptoms and am on methotrexate, should I babysit him or stay away from him?
Hi, I can understand your dilemma whether to babysit your grandson or avoid a close contact with him. Your symptoms are suggestive of an acute viral infection, most probably a type of influenza. So it is better to avoid a close contact with your grandson as he also has a viral infection and both of you have a low immunity at this point of time.
I'll also advise you to take as much rest as you can and drink plenty of fluids. Drinking small amounts of warm water at frequent intervals will help. I hope my answer helps. Thanks, Dr.Prabhas Verma
