What Does Borderline HCV Test Result Mean?

hi dr i have just got my HCV test and they reported that i have a borderline HCV . i am really confused what does that mean ?

Am i infected or not ? i have allready taken antibody HBV 10 years dureation , does it have anyting to do with the test ?

is there any further test should be carried to confirm ?

Hi

It's better you repeat the test . I advise you go for HCV RNA test as it is more specific .

The test has got nothing to do with HBV antibody .
