My sister(age 62) told she has brain lesion. She is having procedure in couple hrs near SF, Calif. In march she had a (medium type) stroke. She is walking, talking & pretty backto normal but she seems confused alittle & lacks energy alot. What could this brain lesion be? Our mother died in the 70 s with an aneurysm. Could you help me undrstand what she is getting done today. I live in SC & I have not been to talk to her dr. Thankyou...linda Pilarski
As per my clinical experience, the brain lesion at 62 may be tumor or post stroke secondary changes in terms of hematoma. However, the MRI of recent evaluation is best way to know the diagnosis and management modalities in accordance to that.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
