Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Bright Yellow Coloured Urine During Pregnancy Indicate?
I am 10 weeks pregnant and taking an all-natural prenatal. I noticed my urine has turned bright yellow (tint of green). I am assuming it is due to the vitamin b. This week however I have noticed my vaginal discharge has turned the same color, but is completely odorless. Can the vitamin b be responsible for the discoloration or should I schedule an appt to check for infection? Thank you!
Most nutrients from foods or supplements can lead to coloring but a fluorescent yellow or greenish color may be caused by vitamin supplements containing B vitamins and especially if your fluid intake is below normal. If you have other symptoms like pruritis, strange odor etc. I suggest to do urine test and vaginal discharge test.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
