What Does Brown Phlegm Indicate?
I have woke this morning to a thick feeling in my throat spat it into tissue and it s a reddish brown colour and then I tasted blood went bathroom and spat a good bit of bright red blood into sink.on blowing my nose no sign off blood there my throat feels very bry. Iv had a cold also.should I be worried

It seems to be a bronchitis. Sometimes bleeding does occur. As it is a single episode, you need not bother about it. Get treated for cold and take a course of antibiotics. If recurrent episodes seen, visit a doctor. You may need sputum examination too.
