Hi, I have this thing on the photo around my vagina... dont know what it is but it feels bumpy and burns. what is it? I have tried putting aloe vera on it and to clean it evry morgning and night. What could this be? I cant describe it better I only have a photo of it.. where I am right now is impossible to get a doctor to look at it.
Get a urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to rule out UTI. Other medical conditions that can cause such symptoms are bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection. Take care of your hygiene. Wear soft cotton clothes. Do not let the clothes rub against the vagina or vulva. To get relieve from burning you can apply ointment Soframycin on the area affected. A course of Fluconazole orally effectively treats fungal infection. You can apply ointment Clotrimazole on the area affected to control fungal infection.
If test for UTI gives positive report then you will be treated accordingly. Avoid any kind of sexual activity. Do not douche the vagina. To be on the safer side get STD tests done to detect STIs, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, etc.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
