What Does Burning Sensation From The Hips To The Right Leg Indicate?
I have been treated for several back pain for years. I have had eight surgeries on my lower back with lots of metal holding everything in place. I know I have nerve damage on my right side from back down to feet. But I have been experiencing sever burning from my right hip down my right leg. This is worse than usual. Do I need to see my Nero surgeon is again for this. Thanks
It is also possible that during multiple surgical treatments for back pain there is nerve damage, which ultimately causes the pain. Vertebral surgeries carry higher risks of nerve damage.
For pain relief, try hot compressions and gabapentin and don't try topical pain relief spray or gels. Sleep on hard beds, avoid sudden waist movements and use waist band if possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
