What Does Burning Sensation In The Abdomen Indicate?
Hi doctors i hope you help me I complain of abdominal burning sensation for few months also my weight is going down, cbc test showed high total wbcs(10.2),stool microscopic showed presence of mucus and motile bacteria.blood examination showed plasmodium f and salmonella para typhi 1/320.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per history you have mentioned your blood reports shows positive paratyphoid and malaria. So both these conditions should be treated with medication like antibiotic and Artesunate drug.
As stool shows bacteria and mucus, stool culture should be done to identify specific organism and sensitive drug for that. Accordingly antibiotic course should be prescribed.
Rabeprazole for a week also should be prescribed as gastritis could be present and could occur as secondary to other medications as well. Consult nearby physician for examination and get prescription without delay
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions. Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
