What Does Burning Sensation On The Left Foot Indicate?
I was coming down a flight of stairs on the second story of my garage with a box of moderate weight and I heard a crack and I couldn t put weight on the leg. I was having what I thought was a nerve problem with burning in my left foot little toes and something didn t feel right when I would climb up on the bed to lay down.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms could be due to irritation/compression of sciatic nerve while climbing with heavy weight in hands. The site of compression could be due to spinal disc prolapse / pyriformis muscle spasm in buttocks. Rest to the part/hot or cold compress/ NSAD pills like Ibuprofen twice a day can be taken at home treatment. Consultation of an orthopaedic surgeon, X-ray/MRI would confirm the cause followed by specific physiotherapy after pain is controlled.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
