What Does Buzzing Sound And Sensation In Ear Indicate?
10 days ago I noticed a buzzing sound and sensation in my left ear. The next day I realized I was not hearing anything from that ear except loud buzzing. On the 5th day I was vomiting violently and extremely dizzy. I ve been to a walk-in clinic once, my GP 3 times and emergency once. The xrays indicated no congestion. A couple of weeks ago my left eye was very sore and inflamed. A week late I had pain in my jaw while I was chewing, followed by pain in all my pain but especially on the left lower teeth. That cleared up but the hearing stopped and the buzzing started. The emergency doctor ruled out a stroke. He said it was viral labyrinthitis. I think it is immune related because spring is always a very hard time for me. I have RA now for 7 years which is well controlled by methotrexate. Would a shot of prednisone calm down my allergies? I m desperate for answers because this loud roaring my my ear will result in poor mental health. Dianne Smith
