Hi,

After stopping iron tablets, a change in stool color to yellow or orange can be due to several reasons. Livogen is a brand name for iron supplements, and it is known to cause changes in stool color. However, if you stopped taking the iron tablets and are still experiencing a change in stool color, it could be due to several other factors such as changes in your diet or digestive issues.

Yellow or orange stools can also be due to a higher level of bilirubin in the body. Bilirubin is a waste product that is formed after the breakdown of old red blood cells. This gets processed by the liver before getting eliminated from the body. If the liver is not functioning properly, bilirubin levels can increase, causing yellow or orange stools.

It is also possible that the change in stool color is due to an infection or inflammation in the digestive tract. If you experience any other symptoms such as abdominal pain, cramping, nausea, or vomiting, you should consult a doctor. It is always better to get a medical opinion if you have any concerns about your health.

In conclusion, a change in stool color after stopping iron tablets can be due to several reasons, including changes in diet or digestive issues. If you experience any other symptoms or if the change in stool color persists, it is best to consult a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
