Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi! I m a 28 year old man. I have a dull pain on the left side of my chest. It feels bad and worse when i lift something heavy. It started 2 years ago when i was at the gym. I went to the doctor and he gave me some medicine but i can t remember it now. The medicine really worked. But the pain has started again recently. Sometimes it gets so itchy and forms something like a pimple that when i squiz it, it releases a very smelly fluid. Now i feel that the pain gets worse most especially in the morning even when i stretch my head from the front to the back.
I think you should send me a photo of a pimple. I believe you are talking about two different situations. A pimple has the smell and itching and can get better by using an ointment with corticosteroids and antibiotics such as Gentamicin and Betamethasone.
This is not related to pain in chest while lifting weights. The pain caused by lifting weights may be caused by a pulled muscle. You can use Voltaren gel over it. Also, you can take Aleve or Advil for pain and inflammation.
Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
