What Does Chest X Ray Showing PTB Minimal In Upper Right Lobe Mean?
, hi there . I had my chest xray on april 2015 and it said ptb minimal in upper right lobe. On september, it will be the 5th month of my medication. But I m afraid i will not be hired if ever they will get my medical records. Btw, i am on the job evaluation of a restaurant. How will I explain to my employer about my condition? Plss help me. This is really a great opportunity for me but I m losing hope.
It means you are suffering from TB but on X-ray it is minimal in extent. You should continue your treatment without any break. Since it is minimal, it should heal easily and over a period of time even the scar may disappear. Once you have taken complete treatment and declare cured, you should not face any problem with employment.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shashi Dangwal, Pulmonologist
